We're David and Nichole Rucker, founders of The Rucker Romance Lifestyle & Wellness, a Black-owned, Christian brand that was inspired on our honeymoon and rooted in love.
On April 1, 2024, Nichole started a new job and had no idea she was about to meet the man God had prepared for her. David was the first person she was introduced to. From that day forward, their paths never drifted apart.
A few weeks later, they went out for the first time, and what was meant to be a casual connection turned into something deeper. Something ordained.
Nichole thought she was starting a new career, but God had something greater in mind: a husband, a purpose, and a future built on faith.
By December, David was not only part of Nichole's life but part of her family. On a Christmas trip to Nichole's hometown, Ft Lauderdale, he told her mom, aunt, and uncle that he was going to marry her. About a week later, he took the first step to keep that promise. David planned a beautiful surprise proposal at Copper Canyon Grill with the help of his brother Ronald, who captured the moment on video. Nichole walked in expecting dessert. Instead, she walked into one of the happiest moments of her life. That night, we not only said yes to each other but also to God's plan for our lives together.
During their honeymoon in Greece, they felt inspired to create something that reflected their shared experience. Love, healing, peace, and calm.
