If you've ever wondered where the name The Rucker Romance came from, the story actually began before there was a brand.
It started off as our wedding hashtag.
What began as a simple way to capture the memories of one of the happiest days of our lives would eventually become something much bigger. Looking back, that hashtag was the first chapter of a story we didn't yet know was being written.
We traveled to Crete, Greece for our honeymoon.
One morning, I woke up before David and stepped onto the terrace of our room while he was still asleep. I laid there alone, overlooking the sea, taking in the beauty of God's creation and the stillness of the moment.
I wasn't searching for inspiration or making plans. I was simply enjoying the moment.
And it was there that the vision of The Rucker Romance Lifestyle and Wellness was placed on my heart.
It was a vision for a lifestyle and wellness brand rooted in love, faith, and purpose. At the heart of that vision was a thoughtfully curated tea collection, one that would eventually grow into other lifestyle and wellness products designed to encourage intentional living and meaningful moments.
When David woke up, I couldn't wait to share what God placed on my heart. From that morning on, the vision became ours.
Our first blend, Cretan Embrace, is the first tea in the Rucker Romance tea collection, inspired by the place where the vision began. While we didn't discover tea during our honeymoon, Crete will always hold a special place in our hearts because that's where The Rucker Romance Lifestyle and Wellness was inspired.
Through The Rucker Romance Journal, we'll share botanical education, wellness inspiration, behind-the-scene stories, and the journey of building a brand with purpose.
Every time I look at that view from our terrace in Crete, I'm reminded of one quiet morning that changed everything.
